ART OF SILK MUSEUM

THE MUSEUM

Welcome to the Art of Silk Museum

At the Silk Art Museum, the history of Soufli unfolds through its most precious thread.

From silkworm breeding to silk weaving and processing, the journey of silk is presented as a vivid experience of knowledge and culture.

The museum is housed in a neoclassical building dating from 1866. Founded in 2008, it preserves and promotes a tradition that remains an active part of the region's identity and is a modern vehicle for preserving the heritage and promoting the sericulture and silk industry of Soufli.

In a place with a long tradition, silk is not a thing of the past, it is a living legacy.
